Sustainable, eco-friendly manufacturing
The clay used to manufacture Rajarata Tiles are sourced only from the Nachchaduwa Tank, a large reservoir of water that dates back over 2,500 years to the times of great kingdoms. Located in the ancient city of Anuradhapura, this tank was built by the great King Mahasen and has become a vital part of the lives of the people of the area. The desilting process of the Nachchaduwa Tank helps it to retain water and prevents overflow thereby benefitting the communities living around it. Therefore, Rajarata Tiles is able to efficiently serve the country while representing its legacy across the world.
